Q: Why are there pictures showing a stainless steel pick up tube and garden hose fitting that are NOT included with this particular cheaper model?

Hi, so whats actually included is the mixer its self, with that stainless valve, a plastic tube that reaches the bottom of a 55 gallon drum and thaty braided transparent hose. We received it and are very happy with this purchase!!!!

It has a hard plastic tube that goes down into the drum.

Q: can this be set to produce a 1: 1 mixture?

NO, it can't. The red mixer mixes to 11%. It you convert that from percentage to ratio, the ratio is 8:1. Maximum ratio is 8:1.
