Fun way to add color.
I recently tried hair chalk, and it’s been a fun way to add a little color to my hair without any commitment! The colors are vibrant, and applying it is super easy—just swipe it onto your hair and you’re done. It’s great for special occasions, themed parties, or just trying out a new look for a day. The chalks don’t damage my hair and wash out easily with shampoo.Pros:✅ Easy to Use – Simple to apply with no mess.✅ Vibrant Colors – Gives a bright, fun color that stands out.✅ Temporary & Washable – Perfect for trying out new colors without a permanent change.✅ Affordable – A fun way to experiment with hair color on a budget.✅ No Damage – Doesn’t damage your hair like permanent dye can.Cons:❌ Can Be Messy – It might transfer onto clothes or hands, so be careful.❌ Not Long-Lasting – The color can fade quickly, especially with brushing or sweating.❌ Works Best on Light Hair – The colors show up best on lighter hair tones; darker hair might not take the color as vividly.Final Thoughts:Hair chalk is a fun and temporary way to add color to your hair without the commitment of permanent dye. It’s easy to apply, affordable, and a great option for anyone looking to add some color to their hair for a special occasion. Just be aware that it may not last long, but it’s definitely worth a try for a temporary change! 🌈🎨

Works a little too well
I used the pink and blue for my Enid Sinclair costume. Overall, the hair chalk definitely works like it claims. However, it does make the texture of your hair disgusting until you wash it out. With that being said, not all of the pink has washed out of my medium blond hair. The blue washed out right away, but a lot of the pink still remains in patches. I've washed it about 10x with my regular shampoo and 2x with head and shoulders. The head and shoulders seems to be working on removing the pink, bit it's definitely been a process. So I'd be cautious if you end up using the pink.

So easy. To apply!!!
I recently bought these hair chalk brushes as a stocking stuffer for my daughter, and she couldn't wait to try them out. I was honestly amazed at how easy they were to use! The application was super smooth, and even though she has brown hair, I only needed to reapply a few of the colors a couple of times, which wasn’t a big deal. All you do is part a section of hair and run the comb from roots to ends—it’s that simple! These chalk brushes are a huge improvement over the traditional chalks that require you to press them into the hair, or the chalk sprays I've used in the past. One of the best things is that the color lasted in her hair overnight, and there’s enough product for multiple uses.If I could wish for one thing, it would be a wider variety of colors. But overall, my eight-year-old daughter was absolutely thrilled with the results. Plus, the dye didn’t come off her hair or leave any residue, which was a huge bonus! I definitely recommend these!

A Fun Product, but a Hard No
It's definitely worth it to try, especially with super light or blonde hair. My daughter is a darker blonde, and the colors still managed to be somewhat colorful and noticeable. It's relatively easy to apply, and it's easy to wash off should any get on you. Perfect for play or dress up or Halloween. However, the cons sort of outweighs the pros:I really, really hate how tacky it becomes (the hairspray doesn't help, I know, but even before applying it, the hair chalk still left an undesirable texture).- My daughter had significant knots afterward (even with brushing before application, as stated in the directions). Note: Probably not recommended for fine hair.- I felt like I applied layer after layer of color and all it did was come off my hands, resulting in a less-than-vibrant color (over and over again).I dunno. Maybe it was a user error in all of this, but I found myself inching towards semi-permanent hair color (something I wanted to avoid), like Color Rista by Loreal, instead of something that doesn't last, like... *at all*. But it almost seems more worth it.

A Splash of Color for the Little Fashionistas!
I recently picked up these hair chalk combs for a fun weekend activity with the kids, and they were an absolute hit! The vibrant purple and pink hues transformed our living room into a mini salon. The comb design made application straightforward, and the colors showed up brilliantly on my daughter's blonde hair. We even got creative and tried some streaks on our golden retriever—talk about a stylish pup! However, a heads-up for fellow parents: the chalk doesn't show as prominently on darker hair tones. We had to apply a bit more to see the colors on my son's brown hair. Also, the chalk can leave hair feeling slightly sticky, but a quick wash and it’s back to normal.Overall, these hair chalks are a delightful way to add temporary flair to your child's hair. Perfect for playdates, parties, or just because!

Perfect for short term color for kids
Purchased this for my almost 10 year old daughter and it was perfect!!!! She’s able to do it on her own and loves all of the colors and combos she can make. And it washed out!

Lingering color after wash
Application was on strawberry dark blonde hair 5 year old.50/50 the application is easy and colors are pretty vibrant however it leaves the hair feeling tacky and greasy. We let this sit maybe 18 hours and I decided to wash it out b/c the texture was driving me crazy. Almost 3.5 weeks later and many many hair washes later either the red or the pink is still on my daughter’s hair. It’s not bright it’s faint but you can def see she had some color there. Wondering when it will fully fade.
