The best I've ever tried
Excellent Option for At-Home WaxingI've been searching for an effective way to wax at home and I found this waxing machine. I was pleasantly surprised by its ease of use and the results I got.The machine is easy to heat up and the wax melts in the right amount of time. The design is ergonomic and comfortable to use. I liked that it came with different accessories, such as different types of wax, a plastic cover for hygiene, oils, and applicators. The results were excellent. The waxing was smooth and long-lasting, and I didn't have any problems with irritation or ingrown hairs. I loved it, and the biggest achievement was that the wax didn't hurt when removing it - I'd give it a 10!*Pros:*- Easy to use- Effective results- Ergonomic design- Accessories included*Recommendation:*I recommend this waxing machine to anyone looking for an effective way to wax at home. It's easy to use and the results are excellent. As a tip, try to apply it in a wide area, not too small. And honestly, it didn't hurt at all. I loved it! Also, make sure the hair is about the size of a grain of rice.

First time I could successfully wax myself
So this is the first time I have tried waxing myself in about 10 years-after the last microwave wax I tried didn't worked well and I ended up getting a nasty burn. But, before that I'd try a new type of wax every few years (NADs, Honey waxing, Microwave wax) and it would work poorly. So, for the last few years I get waxed at a salon and don't do it myself. But even with salons reopening with COVID, I didn't feel that it was safe to spend an extended period time so close to someone who has to spend her time close to a lot of people's faces in order to make a living-so I decided to try waxing myself again. After reading reviews online, I tried Kaluawax. Even after a few years of waxing I am a hairy girl (part Sicilian) and this worked. I liked that if you are new to waxing you can go over an area again (which I needed) and tutorials on the other famous blue wax brands webpage helped (apparently, like all other mammals, our hair grows in mostly a similar pattern and when you know that it's easier to tell which direction yours is growing and where to vary it for wax placement). It also took more time and more wax than expected (but this is due to my lack of skill). If you are new, buy extra wax (more than you think you will need)-you will need it! The pink works well everywhere. I loved the blue not just for bikini, but for knees and lower legs. I thought the face wax was only good for peach fuzz (I might try it next time on the back of my thigh). It is the only wax I did not finish as I do not think it's designed for most of the hair I wanted to remove. It did not remove my coarse facial hairs but the blue and pink wax both did. To do both full legs, half arms and bikini I went through the blue and pink in the sample, a second full bag of pink wax, a half of a full bag of the blue wax, a 4.2 ounce of another brand wax, and almost the entire 28.22 ounce bag of another brand wax. I am sure the amount is not entirely due to my level of hairiness and more because I'm still learning how to do it (otherwise I think if a salon had to use as much wax on me as I had to use they would lose money on me, lol). This wax is flexible and has an easy learning curve. And, unlike the other brand (where the learning curve was steeper), this worked pretty well before I watched the videos to improve the spreading technique ( when I was technically applying it incorrectly). Easy to remove parts that stick (due to user error of spreading too thin) with the post-wax which is mostly oil. I also used olive oil and just slathered and rubbed my legs (like they do at the salon) until all the wax pieces were gone. I wish the post-wax had more antiseptic ingredients for the bikini area to prevent folliculitis-due to this I probably will not repurchase the post -wax. The pre-wax was good, I used it let it dry and added baby powder before waxing. This is also the LEAST painful wax I've ever used (or had used on me-even though my regular waxer has great technique). Due to my lack of technique, funnily enough, the most sensitive areas were different than when professionally done. To Clean the machine, I Just slathered the whole thing in canola oil and rubbed it around to clean the wax strands that got stuck to it and it worked. The packaging is adorable and made me smile (even the refills come in a cute bag with cheeky sayings). I love the spreaders with the cute print and hibiscus; I wish they sold them separately. I also wish they sold an extra large spreader (I ended up also using tongue depressors).

It works - but-
So, first of all, I have used this about four or five times now and this does work and can save you some money if you have the patience. There are some drawbacks. As I am a woman of size (size 22), one large bag of wax or one well full is only about enough to do one half leg. So half legs and a Brazilian would be about three big bags of wax if I only used the wax once. So really not much savings over professional services if I did it that way.I re-use the wax since my hair is quite fine and I don’t even see it in the wax when I re-melt . Remelting takes a lot of time. So I have to set aside at least three hours for a waxing session. After about three uses (with three re-melts each time so using the wax about nine times total), the wax did deteriorate and I decided to use new wax. Also, do not do this on a towel as recommended, the wax will stick in the towel and the color will stain it. Do it on tile. When the wax cools, it will come right up off the tile (be careful of grout, it may stain your grout). The cord is too short for me to sit it on the ground, which I need to do when I am giving myself a Brazilian. This is messy. Maybe you can do better than I can, but be prepared to have drops and strings by working on tile or other hard surfaces the wax can just be scraped off of.I agree with others to turn it up to max for the initial melt, when it is half meted, turn down to around 145 and wait for the green light, stirring occasionally. It needs to be about this temp to have the right consistency. Even then I still get strings, more stringy the more times I have used it.Pros - does work fine for removing hairNot difficult to useSmell and fumes not too overpoweringEasy to clean up from tileCons - cord to short to set on the groundRemelting takes about 30 minutes each time.Small well means at least three Remelts and three hours waxing timeOne big bag is only enough for one half legMessy

You need this! So easy to use and works great!
I was REALLY HOPING this product would work and am so happy to share with everyone that it does! The instructions were easy to understand, and there are several different types of wax pellets included for different areas of the body. I appreciated the generous portions of the wax pellets, and how quickly the unit heated up. I will never again pay a fortune to public businesses that offer waxing services because I can now do them myself in the comfort of my own home. This is one of the best purchases I've made from Amazon all year.
