Great RO system providing the best value in the market
If you are looking for a reverse osmosis solution and are not excited about spending loads of money on tankless systems with proprietary filters every year, you should seriously consider this system. At the time of this review, it is sold at 50% discount at around 118 dollars, significantly lower than any other comparable system in the market. It produces drinking water that is as good as any other mainstream RO system you can find in most of the places.Several points I would make:1. I am not a fan of any proprietary filters. That rules out most of the tankless ones for me. Standard generic filters are easy to find at lower cost, producing similar results if not better. Most of the RO systems of this form factor (multiple canisters) use standard generic filters.2. Most, if not all these systems use more or less the same components, there are hardly any systematic quality differences among them. The technology is decades old, well understood and mature, with simple system architecture that any high school graduate would have no problem understanding. It boils down to brands, marketing, services etc. Furthermore, all these components can be easily bought off the shelf from amazon or big home stores as replacements. If you are at least somewhat handy, you would have no problem installing them, modifying or repairing them most of the time.3. This system is not different. But with a booster pump plus 6 stages, it comes at quite a bit lower price. It comes with very clear guides, circuit/system diagrams and everything needed. I would not say the quality is top notch for the parts, but they are functional as they should, just like any other such systems of different brands, as long as you handle things with reasonable care. There is always a chance that you run into some broken or bad components like other brands too. Asking for a component replacement is easy with the seller. (I asked for a tank valve replacement).4. The inclusion of booster pump helps the efficiency of the system. I haven't measured it exactly, but generally I believe I am getting better than 1:3, closer to 1:2, which is the standard for normal systems like this without a pump.5. IMPORTANT: The instruction states that the system operates at max water pressure of 100psi. In my case, the tap water pressure is around 55psi. With the pump working, it boosts the pressure to somewhere around 110-115 PSI (yours may vary, depending on the pump settings, check the meter). You could probably just let it work like that, and possibly get more efficiency out of it. But I wanted to limit the pressure to 100 psi so as to not over strain the valves etc, or reduce the life of the RO membrane. Because of the presence of the pump, there is no automatic shutoff valve in the system. Instead a high pressure switch which detects the full tank/high pressure will turn off the pump to block water. So getting rid of the pump will not work, the system will run but it will keep producing and draining water even when the tank is full. You can buy an auto shutoff valve and put it in to make it work like normal RO systems. But the best solution would be to adjust the pump setting. At the end of the pump, there is a hex screw that controls the pressure output (pic 1). You can adjust the output pressure using an allen key (3/32”), anticlockwise to reduce, and clockwise to increase the output pressure. Unfortunately, the access to the hex screw is blocked by the upper layer plastic housing. Taking the entire motor assembly apart would be a huge pain. So if you need to adjust that, I would recommend drilling a small hole on the side and sticking an allen key to do the adjustment (pic 2).At the end of the day, this is arguably the best RO system for the money. Highly recommended.

Bottom Line - It Works, Our Water Is So Much Better!!!
My family has really struggled with the tap water that we have at our house. The city has had issues with cryptosporidium and they have issues with their wastewater treatment system where we have received boil notices multiple times due to water contamination. There are legitimate health concerns that we have about our city's tap water. On top of that, it really does not taste too great! I have heard this is because they use surface water (rather than wells) as the source and it becomes contaminated with organic material, which impacts the taste and color. Yuck! It's ridiculous that the water in our RV is better because it at least has a simple filter.I decided to take action to protect the health of my family by purchasing a high quality home water filtration system that included all of the bells and whistles. It's amazing that such a high tech and complete water treatment system is so affordable! What a great value when you consider all that you get in this system for the price. The installation is a little involved, but good instructions are provided.I can go into all of the technical details on why this system works so well, but that's really a pretty involved discussion. Let me just be clear that you want a reverse osmosis (RO) system at the end of the day. That's really the "meat and potatoes" of the water filtration. The RO membrane helps to remove the vast majority of the nasty stuff that you don't want and the other filters put back in some of the stuff that you do want and help to support the function of the RO portion of the system. At the end of the day, it's the results that really speak for this system. The flavor and color of our tap water is sooooooooooooo much better now. I am really happy with this purchase and wish that we had gone this route years ago. If you are concerned at all about your tap water, you owe it to yourself and your family to buy a quality RO filtration system like this. I recommend this Ukoke UWFS01L model because it works, works well, and is very affordable when compared to other RO offerings.

Looks nice but leaked water out of filters
Excellent instructions. Lots of pictures and very clear step by step. You do need to drill a hole in your drainage pipe and sink for the dispenser.Put it together and water was squirting out of filter 2 & 3. Took it apart three times to check assembly, added Teflon & replaced o rings still leaked water. Returning it. Now got nice holes in my drainage pipe and sink. Yey!

Good System
This is my 2nd RO system. My other system is an APEC. The components in this system are good and get the job done but are not up to the quality of the APEC. However, the water still comes out tasting great and I did not experience any leaks. Install was straightforward and easy. If you're on a budget this system is more than adequate in getting you acceptable drinking water. If you have a bit more to spend I would go APEC.
